Target Beauty Studio Is Almost Here, Because Apparently My Target Run Needed a Luxury Identity Crisis

I have never entered Target with a reasonable plan and left with only the items on that plan. Nobody has. That is not shopping; that is folklore. Forty-five minutes later, I am holding a decorative basket, a candle named after an emotion, two seasonal throw pillows and a skin serum that promises to reverse damage caused by time, stress and possibly bad decisions. So naturally, Target has decided I need more temptation. On September 10, Target Beauty Studio will launch in more than 600 stores and online, bringing together more than 1,600 products from 90 prestige, emerging and global beauty brands. Most of those brands will be new to Target. The retailer is promising dedicated Beauty Advisors, product testing, rotating displays, samples, miniature products, special Target Circle offers and the kind of curated discovery experience usually found in specialty beauty stores....
